What attracted you to the opportunity at Farm Bureau?
It’s exciting to be a part of history! We are changing the way clients receive financial advice and taking the client experience to the next level, where all their financial needs are managed in harmony by professionals who have knowledge in each area, from property and casualty, life insurance to investments. No matter how simple or complex a client’s financial situation might be, we have the tools, resources and (most importantly) the people to help to make sense of it all and to make sure everything is working together. What do you enjoy most about your role as a Regional Manager?
As a regional manager, I enjoy working with advisors through high-level practice management to help them enhance their client experience and grow their client base. I love that I get to help provide a culture for advisors where they are free to work with their clients based on the best investment philosophy for that individual client. Creating this type of culture allows advisors to be happy and focus on their first priority – their clients.

What are some specific examples of how you support Wealth Management Advisors?
I offer my support to advisors by making introductions and referrals to help grow their book of business. I also provide guidance on things like regulatory supervision and cross-selling support to help them along the way. I lead through team-based coaching and being supportive any way I can be.

Making the proper investment recommendations is extremely important, but putting a comprehensive plan in motion and re-tailoring it to clients’ ever-changing needs is paramount. I look for candidates who emphasize planning and follow-up as the key component to client success.
